Priscilla, Queen of the Desert – The Musical is an adaptation of the movie The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, a successful 1994 film. It began playing in Australia in 2006 and has seen successful runs in New Zealand as well as London.
The story is about the adventures of Mitzi Del Bra, a drag queen performer, who convinces his performer friends to join him on a tour bus called Priscilla to Alice Springs and their journeys, lessons and laughter on the way. A performance not to be missed, and fully appreciated.
